Audience Partners is a digital media company based in Plymouth Meeting, PA with offices in Washington, DC, Toronto, San Francisco and New York City. This position works full time from our Plymouth Meeting or Washington DC office.
We flourish in the rapidly expanding and competitive world of digital advertising because we help our customers maximize the impact of the money they spend promoting their message.
Making sure that digital media dollars buy only those ads that are shown to the right person, at the right time and with the right message is a complex task that relies on access to inventory, ongoing testing, efficient purchasing processes, expert media planning and sometimes most of all: the insightful analysis of billions of ad-purchase data points.
That is where you come in: we need a creative data analyst that wants to work in an entrepreneurial setting to help us describe the impact of our media spends, develop efficient buying policies and create related workflows and infrastructure.
This is a cross-disciplinary role that will give you the opportunity to display (or develop) a mix of capabilities in areas including ad-tech knowledge, statistics, programming, data base management and data visualization.

You have experience with or are interested in learning:
Relational data modeling
SQL based reporting
Script programming for process automation
Enterprise software configuration (We use Salesforce for workflow management and internal reporting)
Basic statistical analysis (R, Weka, or other)
Advanced spreadsheet techniques (Excel)
Advanced data visualization (Tableau)
Building a comprehensive understanding of the Ad Tech domain
Continuous development of your skills (we’ll support you)
Using data to guide decisions
Delivering value to clients
In this role you'll be oriented toward:
When we are buying media:
Conducting pre-campaign domain research to help define ideal audiences
Using data analysis to inform the development media plans for political, commercial, advocacy and non-profit campaigns.
Mining campaign data to produce buying optimization strategies
Optimizing media buying strategies across multiple advertising media channels
Fulfilling client and internal data analytics and reporting requests
Aggregating and reviewing data from numerous sources to create a cohesive, easy to understand reporting message.
Conducting client meetings and present reporting and analytic outputs in a coherent, compelling narrative
When we are building and refining infrastructure:
Maintaining database configurations in compliance with established best practices
Rendering data purchasing business processes in our CRM through configuration
Defining and documenting new procedures and methodologies; training team members on the same
Gathering and ranking business requirements and then systematically evaluating tools to satisfy those requirements
Projects & responsibilities could include:
Minimally: an undergraduate degree (ideally in a demanding quantitative discipline)
An inquiring mind with a strong desire to learn and to better understand how consumers live their online lives.

You’ll have ample opportunity to buy media as part of your training independent of your ultimate specialization
We deploy our experts to client sites and our partner offices in Washington DC, London and Dubai.
Availability for these types of short or long term on-location assignments is not an absolute requirement but it is strongly preferred
We cultivate end-to-end skill sets.
We’ll provide you with training and support as you acquire all the skills needed to become an effective and broadly capable advertising technology expert.

We are available for our clients.
One consequence is that there are some times of year during which we minimize time off. Primarily election season (the 8 weeks leading up to election day). Our clients appreciate our commitment.
